Terms of Service
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Applied AI Technology, based in Northeastern Pennsylvania, USA. By using our website, subscribing to the Applied AI OS platform (“AATOS”), or engaging us for consulting or custom software development, you accept these terms. If you are using our services on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
2. What we provide
Our services are:
- This website — information about what we do, plus a chat for reaching us.
- Applied AI OS (AATOS) — a hosted business-operations platform provided to businesses under a paid subscription.
- Consulting and custom software development — typically governed by a separate written agreement; where one exists, that agreement controls for the work it covers.
3. Accounts and credentials
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. Anything done under your account is your responsibility until you tell us the account has been compromised. Reach us right away through /contact if you believe your credentials have been exposed.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Platform subscriptions are billed monthly, month-to-month.
- Prices may change; we will give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change takes effect on your subscription.
- Prices do not include taxes; applicable taxes are extra.
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Your data
Data you put into the platform — contacts, invoices, documents, calls, emails, and similar business records — belongs to you. You grant us a license to host and process that data only as needed to provide the service. Each customer’s workspace is isolated, every action is audit-logged, and you can request an export or deletion of your data through /contact. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data in more detail.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the services for unlawful content or unlawful activity;
- abuse the AI features — for example, using them to generate spam, harassment, or deceptive content, or attempting to overload them;
- circumvent access controls, probe other customers’ workspaces, or interfere with the operation of the services.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.
7. AI-generated content
AI features in our services produce drafts for a human to review and approve. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, and it is not professional advice — it is not legal, medical, or accounting advice. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it or sending it to anyone.
8. Third-party services
The platform can connect to third-party services — such as Microsoft, Google, Stripe, and Twilio — when you choose to connect them. Your use of a connected account is governed by that provider’s own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services themselves.
9. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the services available and to communicate about planned maintenance, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Like any hosted service, ours can be interrupted by maintenance, upgrades, or events outside our control.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Applied AI Technology will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the services is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the services or cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, including violations of the acceptable-use section or non-payment. After termination, you can request an export of your data as described in Section 5, and we will delete or return customer data in accordance with our retention practices and legal obligations.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give notice — by updating this page and revising the “Last updated” date, and for platform customers, through the service or the contact information on file. Continued use of the services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
